Plane Crashes, Overturns In NJ Field

Multiple first responders went out to the field on Monday night to help.

HOLLAND, NJ — A small plane crashed and overturned in an open field in Hunterdon County on Monday.

At around 4:30 p.m., Holland Township Volunteer Fire Company was called to Ellis Road for an aircraft down in a field.

Holland Fire found no entrapment, fire, or fuel leak. The pilot had minor injuries, according to the fire company.

Holland Police, Milford-Holland Rescue, and Milford Fire also helped at the scene.

"Never a dull moment in sleepy little Holland Township, NJ. This is why we keep our training up. Because you never know," said the fire company.
