Police Will Be On Scene To Secure BRHS During Walkout
Those not part of the school staff or student body, should not try to enter the school property or they may be arrested for trespassing.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — As a result of Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School students participating in a nationwide walkout Wednesday, police sent out an alert to notify residents of their increased presence on the property.
The walkout is being held in protest of recent gun violence in schools and to call for stricter firearm laws.
Police officers will be standing by on the Bridgewater Raritan High School campus to assist the school staff to ensure safety for all participants.

The 17-minute walkout is one of hundreds that will be held across the United States spearheaded by the Enough National School Walkout of the Women's March Youth EMPOWER nonprofit. The length of time is done in memory of the 17 victims of the school shooting in Parkland, Florida earlier this year. (See Related: Florida Shooting Victim, 14, Lived In NJ, 'Loved, Well-Respected')
