Polish American Citizens Club Celebrates 90 Year Anniversay

A celebration will be held on Saturday, Oct. 14 serving Pierogi, Golabki (stuffed cabbage), kielbasa & sauerkraut, Haluski and more.

WHITEHOUSE STATION, NJ — The Polish American Citizens Club(PACC) is hosting its 90th anniversary celebration.

The celebration will be held on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 4 to 10 p.m. at 29 Kline Blvd. in Whitehouse Station.

Pierogi, Golabki (stuffed cabbage), kielbasa & sauerkraut, Haluski (noodles and pot cheese), salads and homemade desserts will be served.

Iced tea/lemonade, coffee, and tea are also included. Additional beverages are available for purchase.

There are two seatings to choose from including 4 to 6:45 p.m. or 7 to 9:45 p.m.

"The mission of the PACC is to foster Polish traditions, language and culture through fellowship, education, and social interaction. We also promote respect for the Constitution of the United States and all federal and local government laws and regulations. We improve the community in which we live through the sharing of our time, talents and treasures," according to the PACC.

The Polish American Citizens Club is a Fraternal organization incorporated on December 30, 1932. The nine Charter members were: Frank Borowiecz, Paul Rusinski, Ofimry Fabricki, Boleslaw Fabricki, Samuel Skopowski, Benny Emilut, Henry Emilut, Edward Stochowicz and Stephen Gola.

Over the years The Polish American Citizens Club preserved its cultural heritage and its common American Patriotism. In 1983 The Polish American Citizens Club had it's day in the sun when it hosted a visit by President Ronald Reagan to its"Liberty Hall". The purpose of this visit was to administer the "Oath of Citizenship" and present citizenship documents to the then eligible local individuals who completed their requirements of becoming United States Citizens, according to the PACC.
