Possible Stabbing In Bridgewater: SWAT, Helicopter Dispatched To Scene

Residents are reporting SWAT team officials and a helicopter are on scene at the incident in Bridgewater Monday night.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Local residents are reporting a possible stabbing in Bridgewater Monday night with police searching for the suspect.

The incident reportedly occurred sometime before 9:30 p.m. on Washington Valley Road between Tullo Road and Crim Road. Multiple residents are reporting that someone may have stabbed their parents.

A witness at a local dance studio on Washington Valley Road told Patch anonymously that she saw a lot of police activity in the Blessed Sacrament Church parking lot. Police eventually closed the road near Mt. Horeb and then sped away towards what appears to be the alleged incident farther down Washington Valley.

A helicopter reportedly landed at Crim School and SWAT team was seen by residents nearby.

Police issued a Nixle alert at 10:30 p.m. stating, "Washington Valley Road closed between Crim Rd and Tullo Rd for on going police activity. Seek an alternate route."

Police reportedly left the scene around 11:30 p.m.

Police have not confirmed any details.
