Raritan Man Arrested For Injecting Heroin In Quick Chek Bathroom
Raritan Police also made multiple other drug-related and driving while intoxicated arrests in the borough.

RARITAN, NJ — A Raritan man was arrested for injecting heroin in the Quick Chek bathroom on West Somerset Street.
On Feb. 8, Raritan Police were dispatched to the Quick Chek on a report of a man locked in the bathroom. Police were able to get the man, later identified as Cody Huber, 22, of Raritan, to get out of the bathroom, police report.
Huber was arrested for possession of heroin, possession of marijuana, possession of Alprazolam, and possession of a hypodermic syringe, police report.

Huber was lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a court appearance. Sgt. Everett Holt investigated. The Somerville Police Department assisted via a mutual aid request.

On Feb. 6: Erick Colon-Rodriguez, 29, of Hillsborough, was arrested for obstruction following a motor vehicle stop on East Somerset Street. Prior to the motor vehicle stop, Officer Damien Chromowsky attempted to get Rodriguez to pull over, but Rodriguez traveled through several side streets before attempting to hide his vehicle in a parking lot on East Somerset Street. Officer Chromowsky located Rodriguez sitting in the passenger seat of his vehicle in the parking lot. Rodriguez was issued several motor vehicle summonses, including driving with a suspended driver’s license.
On Feb. 6: Timothy Hansson, 26, of Glen Gardener, was arrested on an active warrant out of the Raritan Borough Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop. Officer Evan Vacchiano investigated.
On Feb. 8: Richard Cortero, 39, of Clifton, was arrested on an active warrant out of the Woodbridge Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop following a motor vehicle stop on Route 206. Cortero was released pending a court date. Officer Joseph Nepomuceno investigated.
On Feb. 8: John Edwards, 18, of Hillsborough, and a 16-year-old juvenile from Hillsborough, were arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Route 206. Edwards was charged with possession of Adderall and the juvenile was charged possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officer Joseph Nepomuceno investigated.
On Feb. 8: Mohammed Nofal, 22, of Yonkers and Darla Carson, 46, of North Brunswick, were arrested for warrants following a traffic stop on Route 202. Nofal was wanted on a drug charge issued Mahwah Township Police Department and Carson was wanted on a prostitution charge issued by the New Jersey State Police. Nofal was turned over to members of the Mahwah Police Department and Carson was released pending a court date. Sgt. Everett Holt investigated.
On Feb. 10: Najee Talley, 22, of Raritan, was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and an active warrant out of the Bridgewater Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop on East Somerset Street. Talley was released pending a court date. Officer Damien Chromowsky investigated.
On Feb. 11: Danielle Bone, 28, of Raritan, was arrested on active warrants out of the Raritan Borough Municipal Court and Hillsborough Township Municipal Court as she was walking through the parking lot of Quick Chek. Officer Damien Chromowsky was aware Bone had warrants for her arrest when he spotted her walking through the parking lot.
On Feb. 11: Cristian Forderomata, 19, of Somerville, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, exhibiting a fraudulent driver’s license, obstruction and hinder apprehension, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 206. During the course of the investigation, Forderomata climbed into the back seat after he stopped his vehicle and claimed he was not driving. Forderomata also presented officers with fraudulent immigration documentation. After Fordermata was placed under arrest, the passenger in his vehicle, Joshua Mata, 23, of Millburn, became unruly and was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct. At headquarters, Mata continued to act disorderly by yelling, screaming, and spitting all over the room. Forderomata was lodged in the Somerset County Jail and Mata was released pending a court date.
