Raritan Valley Community College Hosting 1st-Ever Optical Career Fair

BRANCHBURG, NJ — Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) is hosting its first-ever Optical Career Fair, designed to connect optical students, apprentices, and licensed opticians with industry-leading employers.

This event, hosted by Judy Quinones, Adjunct Professor with the Ophthalmic Science Department, provides an opportunity for attendees to explore job openings, network with recruiters, and learn about career paths in the optical field.

To help students prepare, RVCC’s Career Services department is offering resume-building and LinkedIn profile support ahead of the fair.

The event will also feature representatives from the Opticians Association of New Jersey (OANJ), the Optical Women’s Association (OWA), and the RVCC Ophthalmic Science Department, who will share insights on career development and professional resources.

Recruiters from leading optical companies, including LensCrafters, ForEyes, Target Optical, Newport
Vision Center, Pearle Vision, Marlboro Family Eyecare, Sunglass Hut, PD Optics, Oliver Peoples, Hillsboro Eye Care, Ray-Ban, Oakley, Walmart, Vision Associates, Warby Parker, Team Vision, Venture Optical Management, BJ’s, and Eye Care Center of North Jersey will attend.
