Raritan's Stop And Shop To Close
Breaking: Stop & Shop announced it will be closing its Raritan location. All associates are being offered positions in nearby stores.
RARITAN, NJ — Stop & Shop's Raritan location off Route 206 and Orlando Drive will be closing, the store's corporation announced on Thursday.
"After a thorough review of the operating performance of our stores, we made a business decision not to renew our lease at our Raritan store location," Cindy Carrasquilla, spokeswoman for Stop & Shop told Patch.
The store is slated to close on or around Nov. 30.

All associates are being offered positions in nearby stores, according to Carrasquilla.
There is no word on what will replace the grocery store.
