
The Somerset County Regional Center has issued the 2014 Achievements Report outlining the accomplishments of the organization that serves as the cooperative planning partnership for Bridgewater Township, Raitan Borough, and Somerville Borough.
According to Troy Fischer, Chairman of the Regional Center Partnership, “2014 was a year of value-added for the businesses and residents of the Somerset County Regional Center communities. In addition to a long list accomplishments and activities, we developed a comprehensive marketing initiative.” He continued, “The ‘Amazing Things are Happening in the Regional Center’ toolkit was created for use by the public and private sectors for business attraction and retention needs.

In addition to a detailed description of the Amazing Things toolkit, the Achievements Report features information on environmental initiatives, the One-Seat ride to New York City, Challenge Grants that were awarded in 2014, new driver feedback signage installation, various awards and recognition received during the year, and major initiatives accomplished by the Regional Center communities.
