Register for the 50th Anniversary SCBP Golf Outing
Golf Clinic available for new and novice golfers
The Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP) is accepting registration for the 50th Annual Golf Classic, the longest continuously running golf event in Somerset County. The outing and celebration is scheduled for Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at the acclaimed New Jersey National Golf Course, 579 Allen Road, Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
New Jersey National is an 18-hole championship golf course on 260-acres of rolling terrain in the Watchung Mountains that provides the perfect combination of spectacular play and a challenging layout.
To honor the 50th Anniversary, in addition to the 18-hole outing, a Golf Clinic will be offered at 2:00 P.M. for those would-be and novice golfers. These events will be followed by the 50th Anniversary Party, a two-hour tribute and networking event with open bar and plentiful food and refreshment.

Registration and breakfast will begin at 10:00 A.M. followed by a shotgun start at 11:00 A.M. Lunch will be available at the Halfway House during play. The Anniversary Party will run from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
“While we maintain caution due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we anxiously anticipate a gala celebration of the 50th anniversary,” explained Phil Decker, Golf Committee member. “We are planning a great day of golf, networking, and celebration.”

Registration fee for an SCBP member individual golfer is $325. SCBP member foursomes are available for $1250. Non-member fees are $450.00 for a single golfer and $1700.00 for a foursome. The Golf Clinic fee is $75 including the celebration and $90 for the celebration only.

The golf outing was established in 1972, shortly after the Somerset County Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 50th anniversary.
