RideWise announces 2017 New Jersey Smart Workplace Award winners

RideWise honors Somerset County Smart Workplaces

Bridgewater, New Jersey, 11/15/17 - Somerset County business and government leaders will gather at the Raritan Valley Country Club in Bridgewater, Thursday, November 16 for RideWise's annual New Jersey Smart Workplace employer recognition breakfast. 66 businesses and municipalities will be honored for making transportation benefits and incentives available to employees.

New Jersey Smart Workplaces is a statewide program that recognizes employers who show vision and leadership by providing commuter benefits and alternative transportation options for employees. Employers are nominated at the platinum, gold, silver or bronze level based on the type and level of activity provided.

This year saw four new worksites nominated and another 11 sites implementing additional incentives and advance to a higher award level. "More and more employers are finding that incentives and services such as ridesharing, shuttles, and vanpooling, are making them more accessible and attractive to new talent,” said Donna Allison, RideWise Executive Director.

Motivational speaker, Bearj Jehanian, will deliver the breakfast’s keynote address with his high energy and interactive presentation, “Breaking Down the Walls to Success.”
