Right Lane On I-78 West To Close Friday For Construction
One lane on I-78 west will close before the Bridge over the North Branch of the Raritan River for shoulder work in Bedminster.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — A lane on Interstate-78 westbound before the Bridge over the North Branch of the Raritan River will close on Friday for shoulder work in Bedminster, New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials announced.
Beginning at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 5, until 2 p.m., the right lane on I-78 westbound is scheduled to be closed between I-287 and Exit 26/Rattlesnake Bridge Road in order to install rumble strips on the edge line of the right shoulder.
At least two lanes will be maintained during construction.

In October, the shoulder was widened to improve safety in the construction zone for the replacement of the Bridge over the North Branch of the Raritan River in Bedminster.
The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
