Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Somerset Medical Center Release Video on Its Partnership for Healthier Communities

For more than a century, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) and Somerset Medical Center (SMC) have been committed to improving the health of Central New Jersey. United in this common cause, the two hospitals are joining together to offer comprehensive health care services to the community providing greater access to the highest quality medical care, cutting-edge medical research and leading specialists of a premier academic medical center at both their New Brunswick and Somerville campuses. As the merger progresses, RWJUH and SMC have released a video on the benefits of the merger and its partnership for healthier communities.

Additionally, a microsite, http://smc.rwjuh.info, has been created as part of an ongoing effort to provide employees, physicians, community members and patients with the most up-to-date information on their pending merger. The microsite highlights merger milestones, provides answers to frequently asked questions and offers insight on what the merger means for patients and employees. It also includes an overview of each organization and their recent accomplishments.
