Rock ‘N Roll Food Truck Fest Heads To Duke Island Park

There will be 11 food trucks along with soul music performed by Andy Bernstein​ and The Fabulous Grease Band on Aug. 11.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The 5th Annual Rock ‘n Roll Food Truck Fest will be held on Sunday, Aug. 11 at Duke Island Park on Old York Road in Bridgewater as part of the Somerset County Park Commission's Free Summer Concert Series.

Eleven food trucks will be featured, each presenting a different set of menu items including: Cubano Xpress, Kats Catering, Gail’s Dog House, Pizza Vita, Cas' Pierogi's and Kielbasa, Amanda’s Bananas, Cheezin’, Aunt Dee Dee’s Old Fashioned Baked Goodness, Jimmy’s Concession, Taxi Cab Burger, and Josefa Ice Cream LLC.

Along with the food, Andy B. a.k.a. Andy Bernstein and The Fabulous Grease Band will perform some soul music with the best of the hits from the 50’s to the 90’s. The concert is scheduled from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. with the food trucks open throughout the performances. Gates will open at 5 p.m.

The concerts is free with sponsorship by Magic 98.3 WMGQ Radio.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets.

The concert series will conclude on Sunday, Sept. 8 with the re-scheduled appearance of New Power Soul.
