Roman, Sherman Jewelers To Consolidate Stores
Roman Jewelers is closing its Flemington store and Sherman Jewelers is closing its Bridgewater store. Both are offering 70% off merchandise.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Two local jewelry stores, Roman Jewelers and Sherman & Sons Jewelers, will be closing one of their locations and consolidating.
Roman Jewelers is closing its Flemington store after 30 years and consolidating with its Bridgewater location on Commons Way sometime in the summer.
Many customers took to social media to express their sadness over the Flemington closure.

"I’m so sad to hear this!! This was where I met Roman, and he created my breathtaking engagement and wedding rings, and a mother’s ring after my kids were born. So sad this store is closing," said Sharon Flynn Stidham.
"Oh no I am beyond heartbroken. I only pray that all the people are going to Bridgewater. This place holds all my memories. Bought almost everything there," said Holly Stillman Weil.

As a result of the closure, Roman is offering up to 70 percent off all jewelry.
"It is bittersweet for us to be closing the store in Flemington. Our hearts will always be with all the people in Flemington and all of our customers. You have always been so much more to us than just customers. You became our extended family. And for that we will be forever grateful to all of you. We are not going too far away, only to our Bridgewater store," Roman Jewelers posted.
Sherman & Sons Jewelers in the Somerset Shopping Center on the Somerville Circle in Bridgewater also announced it will be closing on April 15 and consolidating with its Flemington location which will remain open.
The store is also offering 70 percent off all in stock inventory at the Bridgewater location until the April 15 closing date. The store had been at that location for 50 years.
