Route 202 Lane Closure Due To Natural Gas Leak In Raritan

Heavy delays are expected on the highway due to the lane closure from Raritan to Bridgewater on Wednesday.

RARITAN, NJ — The right lane of Route 202 South is closed from Raritan into Bridgewater due to a natural gas leak on Wednesday.

The right lane of the highway is closed on the southbound side from Ortho Drive to Vones Lane, said Raritan Police in an alert around 3:20 p.m.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area. Raritan Police and Raritan Fire Departments are at the scene.

"Expect heavy traffic delays," said police.
