Route 206 Construction To Begin Friday In Bridgewater

Improvements will be made on Route 206 southbound in the area of the I-287 southbound ramp​ in Bridgewater and continue for 6 months.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Construction improvements on Route 206 southbound in the area of the I-287 southbound ramp in Bridgewater will begin on Friday and last six months, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

Work will be concentrated between the Garretson Road and Commons Way overpasses, which will require temporary traffic patterns and intermittent detours.

The contractor is expected to work 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays.
