Major Gas Leak Closes Chimney Rock Road

Drivers should seek an alternate route.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A ruptured gas line has caused a portion of Chimney Rock Road to close on Tuesday, said Bridgewater Police.

The roadway is closed between Gilbride Road and Thompson Avenue, said police just before 11 a.m.

Currently, PSE&G estimates that it will take 2 to 3 hours to repair, according to Martinsville Volunteer Fire Department.
