Woman, Child Hit By Car In Highland Park
A mother and her child, 5, were hit in the parking lot of the Stop and Shop grocery store Monday.

HIGHLAND PARK, NJ — Two pedestrians were hit by a car Monday morning in Highland Park, police there announced. According to sources, it was a mother and her five-year-old child that were struck, but this has not been confirmed by police. However, both were taken to a hospital, police did say.
The incident happened in the parking lot of the Stop & Shop grocery store on Raritan Avenue. The mother and child were struck while walking in the parking lot. Both were treated by Highland Park First Aid Squad and Robert Wood Johnson medics. They were both transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
