Santa To Ride Fire Truck Through Bridgewater: See When, Where

Santa Claus will be making his way through Bridgewater Township atop a fire truck. Here is where and when you can spot him:

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Santa Claus will be making his way through Bridgewater Township atop a fire truck to kick off the holiday season. Here is where and when you can spot him:

Bradley Gardens

On Sunday, Dec. 20, the Bradley Gardens Volunteer Fire Company will have three different fire trucks carrying three different Santas to drive down every street in Bradley Gardens. The run will begin at 1 p.m. and is usually completed by 3 p.m.

Firefighters will hand out candy canes, wear masks and follow COVID-19 guidelines. Check the fire department's Facebook page for more information.

Country Hills

On Sunday, Dec. 20, the Country Hills Volunteer Fire Company will be coming to Country Hills Bridgewater response area starting at 4:30 p.m. "Make sure to keep a lookout for our fire engines as we escort him around town and help spread holiday cheer!" Check the fire department's Facebook page for more information.

Finderne

Finderne Fire Department, unfortunately, had to cancel its Santa Run this year.

"Sadly, we have decided to cancel our yearly Santa Run. An enormous amount of thought went into our final decision. At the end of the day, the safety of the citizens and our firefighters are of the utmost importance. We wish you all a happy and safe holiday season!"

Green Knoll

Santa will be escorted by the Green Knoll Fire Department on Saturday, Dec. 19 beginning at 11 a.m. to its response area.

Santa will not be allowed off of the fire truck and candy canes will not be distributed due to COVID-19 and firehouse protocols. Check the fire department's Facebook page for more information.

Martinsville

The Martinsville Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual Santa Run on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 beginning around 4:30 p.m. Due to COVID-19, there will be no gifts delivered, no candy canes and no stopping. The run usually goes until about 9 p.m. Check the fire department's Facebook page for more information as it gets closer.

North Branch

Santa will be coming around town on top of the North Branch Volunteer Fire Company's ladder truck to wave to residents of the North Branch Sections of Branchburg and Bridgewater Townships.

The run will be broken up into sections of the community beginning on Friday, Dec. 11 from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12 from noon to 4 p.m., Friday, Dec. 18 from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 19 from noon to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 20 from noon to 4 p.m. To see what section of town Santa will be visiting on which night check the North Branch Volunteer Fire Company's Facebook page.

Firefighters will be handing out candy canes and they will be masked and gloved to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines.

All of these fire departments serve the Bridgewater Township area and are completely volunteer-run. They need your help to continue helping residents. Check with your local fire department to find out how you can volunteer, help, or donate.
