School Supply Drive To Benefit Agape House Shelter Families
Bridgewater actress Christina Castellanos and friend Melissa Smith-Shell are hosting the drive on Saturday.

SOMERVILLE, NJ — Bridgewater actress Christina Castellanos and friend Melissa Smith-Shell are coming together to host a school supply drive to benefit the families at the Agape House Shelter.
The drive will be held on Saturday at the Agape House at 122 E Main St. in Somerville from 1 to 4 p.m. where a total of 18 kids are in need of school supplies.
"No human, especially a child, should have to worry about having the basic necessities in life like food, clothing, school supplies, etc. They deserve to know that someone cares for them. And as long as I have breath in my lungs, I will continue to make sure that those who are in need will not have to worry about being left out and feel forgotten about," said Castellanos, a Bridgewater-Raritan High School graduate.

The children at the shelter, both boys and girls, range in age from two to 18 years old.
"I'm just a mom teaching my little one to care about everyone because we never know what someone is battling silently. I'm fighting cancer and dealing with seizures and I still go into the community with her to show her giving is easy but the impact you make is truly one money can't buy," said Smith-Shell.
