Second Day Of Bridgewater Deer Hunt Closes Park

Washington Valley Park in Bridgewater closed Jan. 13 for deer hunt

Bridgewater, NJ -- The second day of the Somerset County Park Commission’s deer hunt takes place today at Washington Valley Park.

The first day was on Jan. 6 in the Bridgewater park.

Shotgun hunting is what is permitted at the park and will take place from sunrise until a half hour after sunset, around 7 p.m.

The park will be closed during the hunt.

Parks included in the deer management program are Washington Valley Park and Duke Island Park.

Trails in Washington Valley Park will be closed Jan. 13, 20, 27 and Feb. 3 and 10.
Duke Island Park will be closed on Jan. 19 and Feb. 9.
