3-Car Crash Sends 1 To Hospital At Washington Valley Road Intersection
Bridgewater Police, Martinsville EMS, and Martinsville Volunteer Fire Department responded to the crash.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A three-car crash in Bridgewater on Thursday sent one driver to the hospital.
On Feb. 29 at around 5:20 p.m., officers went to the intersection of Washington Valley Road and Volleller Avenue for a motor-vehicle crash involving three vehicles.
The officer’s investigation of the crash determined a Volkswagen Passat driven by Sebastian Pena Collazo, 19, of Basking Ridge, was driving west on Washington Valley Road making a left turn onto Vosseller Avenue.

While making the turn, Pena Collazo hit an oncoming Honda Pilot driven by a 70-year-old Piscataway woman, who was driving east on Washington Valley Road, according to Bridgewater Police.
Due to the crash, the Pilot hit a Ford Explorer driven by a 42-year-old man from Bridgewater, who was stopped on Vosseller Avenue (facing north) at the intersection with Washington Valley Road, said police.

The Honda Pilot then went east on Washington Valley Road and hit a utility pole coming to final rest further east on Washington Valley Road.
The Piscataway driver was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital (Somerset) for her injuries.
Sebastian Pena Collazo was determined to be at fault for the crash and issued a summons for failing to yield the right of way at an intersection.
Along with Bridgewater Police, Martinsville EMS and Martinsville Volunteer Fire Department responded.
