READINGTON, NJ — A gas leak on Route 22 in Hunterdon County has prompted evacuations and those nearby to shelter-in-place on Tuesday.
There is a gas leak in the area of Route 22 and Yi En Restaurant in Readington Township.

"Emergency Personnel are still on scene. NO ADDITIONAL EVACUATIONS ARE NECESSARY. Please shelter in place if you live or work near the scene. Updates will be provided," said Readington Police around 1:50 p.m.
All lanes on Route 22 were also closed in both directions located west of County Route 523/Oldwick Road in Readington Township.
