Sinkhole Closes Route 202 Ramp On Somerset County Border

Emergency repairs are underway on the sinkhole causing delays and a detour on Thursday.

READINGTON, NJ — A sinkhole on a Route 202 North ramp in Readington on the Somerset County border is causing delays and a detour on Thursday.

The sinkhole is on the Route 202 North ramp to County Route 629/Pleasant Run Road in Readington, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

Emergency construction began around 9:40 a.m. closing all lanes and setting up a detour until 3 p.m. on Feb. 10.
