Snow Removal Costs Rise To $150K In Bridgewater
This additional $75,000 in funding was a result of the ongoing snow falls experienced in the Township for 2025.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The 2025 winter weather is already making an impact on the Township.
The Township Council unanimously approved a resolution to approve an additional $75,000 to RJM Landscape and Design in Branchburg, for snow removal services at it's Feb. 6 Council meeting.
This is in addition to a previous $75,000 awarded, totaling $150,000.

This cost is being funded from the 2025 temporary municipal budget.
Chief Finance Officer William Pandos has certified the availability of funds in the amount not to exceed $75,000 from the budget.

"Anyone who looks out the door will want to support this," said Council President Howard Norgalis.
Borough Administrator Michael Pappas said if the Township needs more funding for snow removal they can request it "but we're trying not to ask for more unless it's needed."
Councilman Michael Kirsh complimented the Township DPW last week for their treatment of the roads from ice and snow.
"The roads were as safe as could be and that's certainly what we value here in Bridgewatwr Township," said Kirsh.
