BRIDGEWATER, NJ — For the first time in 73 years the Somerset County 4-H Fair is canceled for the August 2020 season.
"So with great deliberation, and safety being our focus, the Somerset County 4-H Fair has been cancelled (the first in its history) for 2020 due to COVID-19,"said Calvin Embleton, spokesman for the Somerset County 4-H.
The fair cancellation is in line with the recent directive from Rutgers University to suspend all in-person events, classes, programs, club meetings, camps, and other group activities through at least Aug. 31.
