Somerset County Among Top 10 Happiest Places in U.S.

Freeholder Director Patrick Scaglione proudly announces that Somerset County has been ranked in the Top 10 happiest areas of the country.

Somerset County, NJ, has a lot going for it. It’s not only been named one of the best places in the U.S. to live; another ranking has it as one of the happiest too.

At about the same time that Movoto.com’s real estate blog was proclaiming Somerset the fifth best county in the nation, the National Bureau of Economic Research cited the Middlesex-Somerset-Hunterdon region as No. 10 in its Top 10 list of happiest metro areas.

“We have many things to be thankful for here in Somerset County, and I think our quality of life has a definite impact on residents’ happiness,” said Freeholder Director Patrick Scaglione. “Our educational institutions, government services, recreation areas, employment opportunities and housing options are among the best anywhere.”
