Somerset County Buses Delayed Due To Queens Bridge Closure
Passengers aboard Somerset County Transportation shuttles can expect a 15-to 30-minute delay due to the closure of the Queens Bridge.

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — Passengers aboard Somerset County Transportation shuttles can expect a 15- to 30-minute delay due to the closure of the Queens Bridge connecting Bound Brook and South Bound Brook.
The CAT1R shuttle bus, which serves Franklin, Bound Brook, Somerville, Raritan and Branchburg, and DASH shuttles 851 and 852, serving New Brunswick, Bound Brook and Franklin, rely on the Queens Bridge to maintain a timely route.
As a result of the closure, these shuttles are being diverted to Interstate 287, which is causing anywhere from 15- to 30-minute delays in the schedule. And because each shuttle bus runs its route on a loop, pickups are being delayed throughout the day, the county reported.
