COVID Vaccination Clinics Canceled Due To Snow In Somerset County

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — Two Somerset County's COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics are canceled on Friday and Saturday due to snow.

The Friday clinic is normally held weekly at the Somerset County Senior Wellness Center at 876 East Main St. in Bridgewater.

Additionally, the Saturday (mega-site at the Bridgewater Commons Mall) has been canceled due to expected inclement weather.

The clinic scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the North Plainfield Firehouse, 263 Somerset Street, North Plainfield, will be held as scheduled.

The National Weather Service placed Somerset County under a winter storm warning from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 p.m. Saturday. The agency expects accumulating snow to begin Friday evening, becoming heavy at times through Saturday morning and diminishing that afternoon.

Heavy snow is expected with total accumulations between 3 to 7 inches. Wind gusts as high as 35 to 40 mph are also anticipated.

The Somerset County Department of Health holds Weekly COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics at the center on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Vaccination Clinics for next week will include:

• Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the Senior Wellness center, 876 E. Main Street, Bridgewater
  • Pfizer and Moderna primary and booster doses for all eligible recipients
  • Walk-ins welcome
• Tuesday and Saturday from 9a.m. to 3 p.m. at the former Lord & Taylor (park in Lot 10) at the Bridgewater Commons Mall
  • J&J, Pfizer, and Moderna primary and booster doses for all eligible recipients
  • Walk ins welcome
• Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the former Lord & Taylor (park in Lot 10) at the Bridgewater Commons Mall
  • J&J, Pfizer, and Moderna primary and booster doses for all eligible recipients
  • Walk ins welcome
