Somerset County Fugitive Of Month Wanted For Drug Possession

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A man wanted on multiple charges, including drug possession in Somerset County, was named the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office(SCPO) Fugitive of the Month for June.

Charles J. Kersting is wanted by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office for failure to appear (FTA) for recovery court for one count of third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) (January 2018 Warren Township), one count of third-degree eluding, one count of fourth-degree obstruction (April 2018 Warren Township), (FTA) for one count of third-degree possession of (CDS), and one count of fourth-degree possession of device to defraud the administration of drug test (August 2024 Somerville Borough).

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

The SCPO released the following information on Kersting:

• Height: 5’9
• Weight: 175
• Hair: Blonde
• Eyes: Green
• Tattoos: N/A
• Last known address: Bridgewater
