Somerset County Offers Flu Shots on Nov. 10

SOMERVILLE, NJ — A flu shot clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Nov. 10, at the Somerville Senior Citizens Housing at 1 Mountain Ave., Somerville for adult residents age 18 and over.

The cost for the flu shot is $15 or free for Medicare Part B holders.

The flu vaccine is recommended for everyone 6 months of age and older. Pregnant women, young children, older people and people with certain chronic medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes and heart disease are at increased risk of serious flu-related complications, so getting a yearly flu shot is especially important for them.
