Somerset County Prepares To Offer 2nd Dose Of COVID-19 Vaccine
Residents who got their first dose from Somerset County will be emailed an appointment for their second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine
SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — Somerset County is preparing to offer the second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
"We are excited to be moving to this next phase of helping our residents complete their vaccinations as we work toward vaccinating 70 percent or more of our population in the next six months," said Shanel Y. Robinson, Somerset County Board of County Commissioners Director. "Unfortunately the quantity of vaccines we receive is limited at this time, and so we are asking for everyone’s patience as we continue to prepare for when there are significantly more doses available."
County residents and workers who have received their first dose from the Somerset County clinics will be emailed a date for their second dose appointment at Raritan Valley College. Only those who received the first dose from a Somerset County Department of Health vaccination site can get a second dose appointment with Somerset County.
