As a means to promote the importance of hand hygiene within hospitals, Health Care Professionals at Somerset Medical Center remake the Bee Gees classic, “Stayin’ Alive”. The video, which features a number of Somerset Medical Center staff dancing around the hospital to modified lyrics communicates the importance of hand sanitation in an entertaining and memorable way. The purpose of the video is to remind individuals that 20 seconds of hand washing plays a vital role in helping to reduce the risk of hospital infections.
