Somerset Patriots Reliever Buddy Boshers Signed by Minnesota Twins
The Somerset Patriots have announced the signing on Tuesday, Dec. 15.

The Somerset Patriots have announced that reliever Buddy Boshers has been signed by the Minnesota Twins and has received a major league spring training invite with the organization.
Boshers was the 2015 Atlantic League Relief Pitcher of the Year, finishing with a 1.00 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 54 innings pitched throughout 52 games.
“We are very happy for Buddy and this opportunity to make it back to the majors. He had a tremendous year for us and was an integral part in our bullpen’s success in late game situations,” said Somerset Patriots Manager Brett Jodie. ”He put in the time and effort to improve everyday and showed he can compete at the high level expected in the Atlantic League. He’s a perfect example of showing how that can translate to opportunities with major league teams. We wish him the best of luck with the Twins.”
