Somerville Downtown's Restaurant Weekend Returns After COVID Hiatus

The event will feature prix-fixe menus and dining deals from various Downtown Somerville restaurants.

SOMERVILLE, NJ — The Downtown Somerville Alliance's "Restaurant Experience" is returning for the first time this year since before the coronavirus pandemic.

The restaurant weekend will run from Thursday, April 20 through Sunday, April 23. The event will feature prix-fixe menus and dining deals from various Downtown Somerville restaurants.

"Downtown Somerville is thrilled for the return of our restaurant experience,” said Natalie Pineiro, Executive Director of the Downtown Somerville Alliance(DSA). "We are the mecca of so many authentic and delicious cuisines so we are eager for the long awaited return of this event."

Some of the promotions offered include (look for a full list of promotions set to be announced within the next few weeks):

  • Verve Restaurant: $50 prix-fixe menu
  • Kuay Tiew: Special menu $25.99 per person
  • Oink & Moo BBQ: $10 Pulled Pork Sandwich, Fries, Drink. $20 BBQ Dinner Deals
  • Savor Restaurant: 3 course $50 priced fix menu

The DSA encourages those that wish to take part in this tasty event to make reservations at the participating restaurants. If you miss out on a reservation, grab take out from your restaurant of choice and dine at the “Charmed to Table” picnic area located on the courthouse lawn.
