Somerville Man Admits To Traveling Overseas For Sex With Minor
James A. Diggs, 45, of Somerville pleaded guilty to traveling to the Philippines to have sex with a minor, according to the U.S. Attorney.
SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — A Somerville man admitted traveling to the Philippines to have sex with a minor, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig announced.
James A. Diggs, 45, pleaded guilty by videoconference on Monday to the charge of traveling outside of the United States to engage in criminal sexual activity.
In October 2018, Diggs traveled from New Jersey to the Philippines to meet and have sex with the minor, authorities said.

Diggs could face a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison and a $250,000 fine on the charge of foreign travel to engage in criminal sexual activity.
