SOMERVILLE, NJ — The windy weather didn't stop locals from coming out and lining the streets to support the Somerville St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday.

"A lot of people lined the parade route down Main Street," said local Thom Horvath. "It certainly wasn't a day to be outdoors with intermittent showers and a blustery cold wind."

The 30th annual parade kicked off on March 10 at 1:30 p.m. with Leigh McLachlan serving as the 2024 Parade Grand Marshal.

The free, family-friendly event parade featured a variety of local marchers including those from fire departments, Girl Scout troops, Boy Scout troops, American Legions, rescue squads, political officials and more.
