Special Needs Student Voted Homecoming King At Bridgewater-Raritan High School

Bryan Harvey, a special needs student at Bridgewater-Raritan High School (BRHS), was recently voted homecoming king by his peers.

Bryan Harvey, a special needs student at Bridgewater-Raritan High School (BRHS), was recently voted homecoming king by his peers at Bridgewater-Raritan High School.

In the weeks leading up to the vote, many of Bryan’s classmates, including several members of the Homecoming Court, actively lobbied for Bryan to be named king.

As a BRHS teacher, it makes me extremely proud to see the students demonstrate this type of character.

Bryan, along with Samantha Berrios (the homecoming queen), were featured an episode of What’s Up Wednesday, one of 3 BRHS homeroom news programs.
