One other Spirt Halloween location is expected to open in Somerset County later this month. That store will be located in the former Office Depot at 940 Easton Ave. in Franklin Township.
Because the Halloween store is a franchise with thousands of independently run locations across the country, there is no official company-wide "opening day." Each fall, the seasonal store brand secures short-term leases at vacant spaces, leasing from mid-July to early November. The company is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
