Springsteen Tickets Sell Out in Minutes

The sellout time eclipses Springsteen's 2012 show at Prudential Center that sold out within two hours.

NEWARK, NJ – Within a matter of minutes today, tickets for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band sold out for their homecoming show at the Prudential Center on Jan. 31.

Prudential Center has opened an alert list in the event that more tickets become available. Fans can sign up PruCenter.com/alertlist to join the list and be notified of additional inventory for purchase and future event announcements.

Tickets went on sale this morning at 10 a.m. for The River Tour. The sellout time eclipses Springsteen’s 2012 show at Prudential Center that sold out within two hours.

Springsteen played The Rock twice in 2012, once with the E Street Band in May and again at a special appearance during the Rolling Stones: 50 & Counting concert in December.

“Springsteen fans are some of the most passionate in the music industry, which they proved today in record time,” said Sean Saadeh, Executive Vice President of Entertainment Programming at Prudential Center. “Bruce is synonymous with New Jersey and we couldn’t be happier to welcome him home in January.”

The River Tour (#TheRiverTour) is the first for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band since the 2014 High Hopes Tour. The tour coincides with the recent release of “The Ties That Bind: The River Collection,” a comprehensive look at the ‘80s era and “The River” album. Each night of the tour will be mixed for release on Live.BruceSpringsteen.net as high-quality downloads and CDs. Recordings will be available within days of each performance.
