Swimming & Tennis Lessons in the Somerset County Parks

Somerset County Park Commission’s Warrenbrook Pool, located on Warrenville Road in Warren Township, is the county’s only public outdoor swimming facility. Public use of the pool is available by both seasonal passes and daily admissions. The facility will open for the season on Saturday, May 25 at 12:00 Noon

A variety of swim lessons are offered for swimmers of all ability level including Toddlers, Beginner I, Beginner II, Advanced Beginner, and Intermediate. All classes run for two-week sessions, Monday through Friday, June 24 to July 5; July 8 to July 19; and July 22 to August 32. Classes run for forty minutes at 10:15 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. The fee for each class is $70 and class size is limited.

Season passes and swim lesson registration can be done anytime online or by postal mail. As of May 25, season passes and registration may be accomplished in person at the Warrenbrook Pool. For additional information call 908 722-1200, ext. 5018.

Tennis lessons are offered for players of all abilities. One week lessons are conducted for children, ages 5 and older. Lessons are offered for beginners through intermediate/ advanced players. Lessons include drill work, play action drills, challenge court time, and tournaments. Green Knoll lessons begin on Monday, June 24, 2019. Colonial Park lessons begin on Monday, July 8, 2019. Adult lessons are offered in the evening at Green Knoll from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. and run for five weeks one night a week depending upon ability level. Registration can be done anytime on-line, by postal mail, or in person at Green Knoll. For additional information call 908 722-1200, ext. 5021.
