T.E.S.T. Team 303 Blasts Off Into Deep Space
Over the past few months, Team 303 has been active in the their town and within the robotics community.
With hard work and dedication, T.E.S.T Team 303 has been fortunate to have a fantastic build and competition season. Last year, the team was able to attend the 2018 Detroit Worlds Championship by winning the Greater Pittsburgh Regional in March 2018. With the help of their alliance, Team 303 was able to make it to the quarterfinals at Detroit. The team’s success has continued into the 2018-2019 season. The team ended up as finalists at the Mount Olive District Event and made it to the quarterfinals at the Bridgewater Raritan District Event that they host and compete at every year. Last weekend, the team competed at the Hudson Valley Regional and were able to secure a spot at the 2019 Detroit Worlds Championship for the 7th time in a row.
More than robots, the team has also expanded their community outreach. The team has successfully reached thousands of people by attending their local 4-H fair and hosting their annual STEAM and sensory fair. Over the past weeks, the team has attended many science fairs at local elementary schools to showcase their robot. Furthermore, the team has started 6 FLL Jr. teams to bring STEAM to the elementary schools. Grateful for all our past and present accomplishments, the Team 303 can’t wait to see what’s next for them!
