BRANCHBURG, NJ — Somerset and Hunterdon county families and care providers of students with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) will have a dedicated resource at the upcoming TiPS Transition Fair.

The event is designed for students aged 14 to 21 who are in their transition years. It will offer a comprehensive collection of support services in one location.

The fair is scheduled for March 11 at Raritan Valley Community College's Event Center. Broad-based services will be available to attendees. The event aims to streamline access to various providers for families and caregivers.

More than 60 providers are expected to participate. These providers will cover a wide range of essential services. Key areas include employment opportunities and college programs. Financial planning assistance will also be offered. Resources from organizations like DVRS and DDD will be present.

Further support will encompass day habilitation programs and various community supports. Information on transportation, respite care, and residential options will also be available.

Families associated with Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District will have early access to the fair at 10:30 a.m. The event will then open to the general public at 11 a.m. This arrangement allows for a structured flow of attendees throughout the day.
