Tornado Warning Over, Severe Thunderstorm Watch Remains In Somerset County
Rotation was detected in the Flemington area prompting a tornado in the Somerset County area on Monday.

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — A tornado warning for Somerset County residents has been lifted but a severe thunderstorm watch and flood watch remains in effect on Monday.
The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning until 3:45 p.m. after a radar detected rotation in the Flemington area.
At 3:17 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Flemington, or 12 miles west of Somerville, moving northeast at 25 mph, according to Somerset County Public Safety.

That warning is lifted yet a severe thunderstorm warning remains through 9 p.m. on Monday. Additionally, a flood watch is also in effect through midnight.
