Trader Joe's To Open Bridgewater Location In October

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Trader Joe's has announced they will be opening its newest Bridgewater location in October and are currently hiring.

"We are hoping to open the store next month," a spokeswoman with Trader Joe's said. An exact grand opening date, however, has not been announced.

The new store will not be selling alcohol, the spokeswoman said.

In the meantime, the store is looking to hire "Crew" members for $13 to $16 an hour at the 315 Promenade Blvd., Bridgewater location.

The specialty grocery store will be opening in the Bridgewater Promenade between Routes 28 and East Main Street. Trader Joe's will replace the former Golfsmith store which was located next to Old Navy.

Currently, the nearest Trader Joe's locations are in Westfield or North Brunswick.

The new Trader Joe's store will be about 13,000 square feet. It is taking some space away from Old Navy's 18,180 square feet to make room.
