Transitional Twos Program Supports Preschool Readiness

The Preschool Place & Kindergarten's Transitional Twos Program prepares two-year old children for independent preschool attendance.

Bridgewater, NJ - At The Preschool Place & Kindergarten two year olds can begin their preschool experience accompanied by their parent or caregiver and transition to independent attendance through the course of a 15 week Transitional Twos program. “Our Transitional Twos classroom is great fun for everyone! Our class size is 6 children with 2 teachers because we spend quality time with each child and build trust and affection. Importantly, we work closely with each parent to support their child’s individual needs and readiness for independent preschool attendance. Many parents tell us that they want to support their child to learn to share, and we help build those foundation social skills their child will use always,” said Transitional Twos co-teacher Rachel Drascher.

The class meets Thursday or Friday mornings. Parent Hannah Seydewitz said “My daughter and I look forward to our morning at The Preschool Place. She asks to come every morning!” New Transitional Twos sessions commence on February 28 and March 1.
