Tree Falls On School Bus, 11 Students Injured In Hunterdon County
A total of 11 patients were taken to a local hospital for further evaluation for injuries and reunification with parents on Friday.
TEWKSBURY, NJ — Eleven students were injured after a tree fell on a school bus in Hunterdon County on Friday morning, according to Whitehouse Rescue Squad, Readington, NJ.
The fallen tree on a school bus was reported in the area of Fairmount Road E in Tewksbury Township, said the rescue squad.
Whitehouse Rescue and Tewksbury First Aid and Rescue Squad "began issuing triage tags to determine the severity of injuries between all the patients."

A total of 11 patients with minor injuries were taken by the rescue squads to a local hospital for further evaluation for injuries and reunification with parents, said the rescue squad.
Pottersville Volunteer Fire Company, Pottersville, NJ and Califon Fire Company also helped stabilize and secure the bus.

The rescue squad also thanked Tewksbury Township Police Department, Tewksbury Township Schools and Hunterdon County communications for their help in facilitating this incident.
