Truck Overturns, Driver Charged With DWI In Bridgewater
The crash was reported near the Bridgewater Promenade shopping center this weekend.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Manville driver was charged with driving while intoxicated after he lost control and his pickup truck overturned over the weekend in Bridgewater, said Lt. Kevin Lamey.
On Saturday, Dec. 2 at around 1:50 a.m., a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado Pickup was driving west on East Main Street.
The driver Aaron Saavedra-Cerdas, 27, of Manville, lost control of the pickup and it overturned near the intersection of Promenade Boulevard, said Lamey.

Saavedra-Cerdas was uninjured in the crash and he was arrested for DWI. He was issued the following summonses: DWI, refusal to consent to breath testing and failure to exhibit documents.
He was released with a pending court appearance.

Finderne Fire Department came out to help with the cleanup of the crash.
The Finderne Fire Department, which covers the southeast section of Bridgewater Township, is always looking for volunteers.
Volunteers are offered complete protective gear, free training, LOSAP (Length of Service Award Programs), a pay-per-call incentive, a life insurance/disability plan, and an in-house gym.
