Two-Time Survivor Winner Tony Vlachos Coming To Somerset Patriots Game

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees Double-A affiliate, will host Survivor 50 Night with special guest Tony Vlachos at TD Bank Ballpark on Friday, May 1.

Survivor 50 Night will celebrate the CBS reality series, which premiered in May 2000. The show's 50th season is scheduled to begin on Feb. 25 and run into May.

Two-time Survivor winner Tony Vlachos, who is widely considered one of the greatest players in series history, will be the special guest.

Vlachos won the show’s 28th (Survivor: Cagayan) and 40th season (Survivor: Winners at War). He also competed in Survivor: Game Changers and Australian Survivor: Australia V The World.

Vlachos, a Jersey City police officer, is considered by Survivor host Jeff Probst as one of the top players in the show’s history due to his strategic gameplay and ability to manipulate other contestants.

During the event, Vlachos is expected to participate in a pre-game moderated Q&A on the field. He will also throw out a ceremonial first pitch. Following these activities, he will meet fans on the main concourse for pictures during the game.

Survivor 50 Night will also feature a special themed neck scarf ticket bundle available for $25. Attendees will have a choice of either a red or blue scarf with this bundle.

On Friday, May 1, the Patriots take on the Portland Sea Dogs (Boston Red Sox) at 6:35 p.m.
