Uncle Floyd Fund Raiser for Raritan, NJ Shrine

March 15 at the Somerville Elks Lodge

– Somerset County Surrogate Frank Bruno, Somerset County Sheriff Frank Provenzano, and former
Raritan Mayor Anthony DeCicco will host “Comedy Night with Uncle Floyd Vivano”
at the Somerville Elks Lodge #1068 on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 6:30 P.M. The
Elks Lodge is located at 375 Union Avenue in Bridgewater, New Jersey.

Appearing with Uncle Floyd will be Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick, renowned as
“the Funniest Lawyer in New Jersey”.

The evening of family dining and entertainment will benefit the historic Shrine of the
Blessed Sacrament, raising money for critical repairs to the landmark structure
located at 52 West Somerset Street in Raritan, New Jersey. This event will further
the restoration and maintenance of the beautiful, historic church that
continues to support the faith, lives, and heritage of people in the area by
having daily Eucharistic Adoration.

The church structure is the oldest continually active Catholic Church in Somerset County,
dating from the 1850s. The Shrine was built by Irish immigrants who, during the
Civil War, worked in the local mills making blankets for the union solders.

The Shrine, home to the parish of St. Bernard, provided an education to Raritan's
hometown World War II hero, Medal of Honor recipient, Sergeant John Basilone.

For an all inclusive price of $60, guests will enjoy a full buffet with soft drinks, beer,
and wine during the performances by Uncle Floyd and Assemblyman Bramnick. Reservations
